Draft — Pending Legal Review

This draft covers the standard terms for a free, no-account Android app. The Governing Law section below is left as a placeholder pending confirmation of Vinnorokom IT's registered jurisdiction, and this page should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being treated as final or binding.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CarrotVPN Android application ("the App"), provided by Vinnorokom IT ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

CarrotVPN is a free Virtual Private Network (VPN) application for Android that routes your device's internet traffic through an encrypted tunnel using the WireGuard® protocol. The App does not require account registration, an email address, or payment to use. The App is supported by in-app advertising.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
  • Engage in fraud, unauthorized access to systems, or distribution of malware
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure, including through abusive or automated traffic

We reserve the right to suspend service to devices or connections that we reasonably believe are engaged in abuse of the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, logo, and branding, is the property of Vinnorokom IT and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable law. "WireGuard" is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld, used here to describe the protocol the App implements; CarrotVPN is not affiliated with or endorsed by the WireGuard project.

5. Third-Party Software

The App may include third-party open-source components, each governed by their own license terms, and may display advertising served by third-party ad networks, which are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, or that any particular server location or speed will be available.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vinnorokom IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or your access to it, at any time, including in response to a violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, where Vinnorokom IT is based, without regard to conflict of law principles. [This section reflects Vinnorokom IT's publicly stated home jurisdiction and should still be confirmed by qualified legal counsel — including whether Bangladesh is the intended governing law for an internationally distributed app, or whether a different jurisdiction should be specified — before this page is treated as final.]

11. Contact
